Kmart is a department store that was founded in 1899 under the name S.S. Kresge Corporation. In 1977, it was renamed Kmart. In its heyday, it operated 2,323 discount stores. In 2002 and then again in 2018, it declared bankruptcy and reduced the number of stores to just 202 stores.
Like other department stores, Kmart uses online portals to help employees manage their benefits, paychecks, and scheduling.
Employees who work at Kmart enjoy many different benefits and can access information about them at their convenience on this portal. Note that benefits may differ depending on if you are a full-time or part-time employee. Plus, benefits aren’t the same in all locations.
To access this information, navigate to the Kmart employee login page at mykmart.com/kmwb/kmwb/login.asp. You’ll see that it says “Sears Holding Corporation” at the top of the page. Next, you’ll see a screen with fields for your Enterprise/User ID and password. This information will be given to you when you are hired as an employee.
If you can’t remember your password, you’ll need to call Support Central at 1-866-562-7800 or 1-700-321-1040. This information is listed at the bottom left of the login area under “Associates.” Do not try to use the “Reset Password” link under Vendors. That will take you to a website for Kmart’s vendor partners.
According to the FAQ Page, passwords change every 90 days. If it expired, the system will take you to the password change screen.
88Sears is another Kmart employee login website that expands upon the MyKmart portal. Here, you can access the following types of benefits: healthcare, payroll, employment documentation, and career-based benefits.
First, navigate to 88sears.com. You’ll see the TransformCo Human Resources title and three areas to choose from: Benefits Information, Payroll & W2 Information, and Resources & Contacts.
If you need to enroll in benefits, find benefit forms, check on your savings plan or pension plan, review your retirement benefits, and see your work-life benefits, choose this option.
Each link takes you to a different part of the 88Sears website. Some will be downloadable documents, and others will take you to another portion of the site. Login information such as your Enterprise/User ID and password will be the same as the MyKmart website.
Payroll & W2 Information
This area is pretty straightforward. You can fill out your W2 form and your state W4 form, review pay cycles, and check on payroll debit card fees.
If you click on each link, you’ll either be taken to an external website to fill out tax forms or another area of the 88Sears website. Note that you won’t need to log into the internal web pages, but you may need to get a code from your HR department for the tax forms website.

Select this option for the careers website, employee Code of Conduct, Workforce Optimization (Call Center Only), My Personal Information (MPI), Web Outlook, IVR Support Services, and the I9 documentation process.
Some of the links will take you to documents you can download, and others will take you to various external websites. Follow any instructions on each external website or contact your HR department for assistance.
